On June 26, 2025, IMKT will host the kick-off event of the newly established GfT Regional Working Group Hannover/Northwest. In collaboration with colleagues from Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences, Clausthal University of Technology, and the University of Paderborn, this new format aims to foster technical exchange on tribological topics in the northwestern region of Germany.
The inaugural event will focus on “Tribological Challenges in Electromobility”, with particular attention to the effects of high rotational speeds and electrical loading on machine elements and lubricants. The program includes three expert presentations, a guided tour of the IMKT facilities, and an informal dinner for guests staying overnight.
