As part of the Sino-German Mobility Programme, the IMKT had the pleasure of welcoming four guests from Qingdao University of Technology to Hannover from September 1 to 16, 2025. The visit focused on intensive scientific exchange on tribological topics – ranging from tribochemical mechanisms to the fabrication and characterization of innovative materials, as well as sharing the latest research results and experiences from both institutes.
On September 10, Associate Professor Yurong Wang enriched the program with a lecture on Preparation and Tribological Behavior of Supramolecular Gel Lubricating Materials. In addition to in-depth discussions, perspectives for future cooperation were explored, including joint research projects, student exchange, and the execution of bilateral experiments.
The visit not only strengthened the mutual understanding of each other’s research priorities but also laid an important foundation for the sustainable advancement of Sino-German collaboration in the field of tribology.
